I just read this in the book I'm reading (Still Alice) and, of course, it reminded me of Jess:

"She remembered being six or seven and crying over the fates of the butterfiles in her yard after learning that they lived for only a few days.  Her mother had comforted her told her not to be sad for butterflies, that just because their lives were short didn't mean they were tragic.  Watching them flying in the warm sun among the daisies in their garden, her mother had said to her, See, they have a beautiful life."

So very true.  You had a beautiful life angel girl.

Romans 8:38-39

For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
